The Votes Are In

It’s that time of year again and I’m not talking about Halloween or the abundance of candy on display in the store aisles! There’s been some excitement brewing in the nooks and crannies of our school because on Monday, September 27th, we had an election right here in our very own Sacred space of high school where you, the student body, were given the opportunity to cast your vote for Student Council Co-Presidents. Just days after a federal election that had our entire country watching as millions of Canadians made their way to the polling stations, we too have new leaders amongst us! Congratulations to Sofia Buffone and Tai Joseph for being the newly elected Sacred Heart Student Council Co-Presidents! And a big thanks to the other candidates, Emanuel Boucher, Ikram Abdi and Emma Bonneau for their impressive efforts!
