March Break

Welcome back Huskies! It’s safe to say that everyone enjoyed the long-awaited March Break. The best part of the break is all the different things people get up to when they have so much free time on their hands. Whether time was spent with family, hanging out with friends, or treating yourself to some much-needed rest, spring break is the perfect pick me up before the final push to the end of the school year! Noam Rosenblatt said he was

“really glad to not be going to school.”

In a similar statement, Anthony Bengtsson agrees that

“we deserve a break after so much school work.”

But what do the huskies get up to with all this time off school? Kaitlyn McGregor shares that she spent her break

“working and making lots of money.”

Other students like Ashleigh Hoare went away for the week as she says,

“I’m going to New York and I am super excited about that.”

One of the best parts of the break is getting to spend time with your family for longer than what normally would have been possible. Kennedy Sherban shares this sentiment as she says her favourite part of the break is

“spending quality time with my family because it’s so precious".

Mr. MacDonald also shared his plan for the break was to “visit his parents.”

The March Break is all about doing what makes you happy with your time off school and Mr. Michienzi said that leading into the break the thing he was most excited about was

“being able to walk to Taco Bell for lunch and enjoy a delicious meal without the constraints of time.”

No matter what you did with your week off, or what your favourite part of spring break was, the week off from assignments and homework was much needed and much appreciated by teachers and students alike!
