Quad Change

Updated: Nov 22, 2021

Our first round of RST’s are done! With first quad classes wrapped up, and quad-mesters changing, everyone has handed in their work, which means lots of cool projects from all the different departments. Covid-19 has affected assessment again this year, with the board scrapping exams for larger summative tasks instead. Some interesting ones we’ve noted are the Grade 9’s art and dance projects. For art, the students have to create a portfolio and do a transformation drawing where they take ordinary objects to transform their meanings. In dance, students are performing in a virtual dance recital! The grade 10 section of that class will also be performing for their parents and peers in a show all their own.

By the time this newspaper reaches you, Quad 2 will have kicked off! Best of luck for a great, new term!
