Illuminating Our Christmas Spirit

Updated: Dec 20, 2022

Sacred Heart’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony has returned! On December 8th, the Sacred Heart community — students, teachers, parents, friends, and family — united to celebrate the Christmas holidays and the anniversary of Jesus’ birth.

Through the dedication of the staff and students from grades 7-12, the event turned out beautifully with a performance from the 7/8 Christmas choir, a nativity scene performance from the grade 7/8s, and a presentation of the symbols of Christmas. After the wonderful ceremony, there were children’s activities, baked goods, and time to meet new people!

Two Relay for Life teams were also present that night with a raffle basket and bake sale with proceeds going to cancer research. Thank you to all those who came out to support the school and participate in the activities!
