Giving a Helping Hamper

Updated: Dec 22, 2022

The holidays are a time of giving and many homerooms around our school are giving back to our community by putting together Christmas hampers. These hampers will be filled with non-perishable food items, toiletries and in some cases toys for kids. The hampers are then given to families who need a little extra support this holiday season.

Homerooms delivered their completed hampers from December 14 to 16th, so they could be delivered with plenty of time before Christmas.

Homerooms had the choice of putting together a hamper for a large or small family and some smaller homerooms even teamed up to be able to bring in enough stuff for a large family. Included with each hamper was an assortment of gift cards also. Any extra food collected was donated to our local food banks. We will be excited to share the final total with you soon!
