Get to know your Co-prez!

Hillary Sterling, as many of you know, is half of this year’s Co-Prez elect. However, here are some things you didn’t know about her! She was born on April 17, 2003. At the age of 15, Sterling was already committed to St. Lawrence University on a hockey scholarship, making it official on November 12 of this year. Hilary was also the MVP and the leading scorer on the OFFSA level school hockey team in 2019. Evidently, Hillary is quite the hockey player, however she doesn’t just make an impact on the ice, but around the halls of Sacred Heart as well. Hillary’s winning campaign slogan, Stronger together, Stronger with Sterling” is surely something we are all familiar with. Although you might not know the reasoning behind it. Her slogan was actually influenced by COVID-19 and everything going on this year. Being Co-Prez was important to Hillary because she wanted to make this school year as fun and “normal” as she could. She really wants to reinforce that fact that we are in this together and will hopefully be stronger because of it.
