The Jr. Boys Volleyball team got off to a good start with a 3-1 win against AY Jackson. They dropped the first game but came all the way back to take the match over the Jays. In their next game the Jr. Boys weren’t as successful, unfortunately, dropping three straight games against Holy Trinity. In their third game of the season the Huskies landed another victory against the All Saints Avalanche. The boys play again April 4th in our home gym, and spectators are now welcome to come and cheer them on!
After a great run, the Huskies Hockey seasons came to an unfortunate end as both the boys and girls team lost in the city finals. The girls team lost 3-1 to St. Joseph’s High School. The boys hockey team lost 5-1 to St. Mother Teresa in their final. Despite ending on a loss, the two teams had an accomplished season and represented our school well in the top divisions.
Since the March Break, the Sr. Boys basketball team is 1-1. They fell short to Woodroffe 63-53 but came out on top of Merivale High School with a 71-51 victory. This unfortunately puts the Huskies out of contention for the city finals; however, they will still be playing inter pool games against teams in other divisions.
