Every year, Sacred Heart students take part in a Terry Fox run to raise awareness and raise money for cancer research. However, this year’s “Run/Walk for Hope” looked a little different than usual. Students in Grade 7 and 8 participated in the Terry Fox run during their physical education period and money was collected in every homeroom class. As a school, we raised approximately $1500 for cancer research this year. Although we couldn’t all do the walk as a school like we did in past years, we were still able to come together as a school to raise money for a great cause. We look forward to the return of our traditional Terry Fox Walk next year!
